We are a young, dynamic and successful company specialising in providing solutions in the global aerial platform market. Every week, hundreds of packages and pallets of spare parts leave our warehouse for all corners of the world. Today, more than 450.000 unique references are already available in our online shop.

Our international customer base is growing! As a result, we are looking for an enthusiastic and results-oriented account manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing potential customers in the Eastern European market.

 

Your main duties as account manager?

Together with the sales team (1 sales manager and 13 internal/external commercial colleagues), you will be responsible for selling parts and the further expansion of the customer portfolio, with a focus on the Eastern European market.

As a representative, you spend 60% of your time on:

  • On the one hand, proactively looking for potential customers (hunting)
  • On the other hand, maintain existing customer relationships (farming) and expanding their share of wallet.

You have a predetermined target of weekly visits with the aim of advising and convincing customers, negotiating contracts, gathering market information, etc. You will report directly to the sales manager and work closely with Ellen, your direct colleague.

The remaining 40 per cent:

  • Of course, you are also in close contact with customers (B2B) by phone or email;
  • You do the necessary follow-up of visits e.g. prepare reports / quotes;
  • You prepare thoroughly for your next trip.

Your profile

What we expect from you:

Our future account manager possesses:

  • Excellent language skills in Romanian that will ensure you can offer our customers a smooth, professional service. In addition, a fluent knowledge of English is important for monthly sales meetings with colleagues, training courses, info session on new parts, etc. Knowledge of other Eastern European languages is a plus.
  • A commercial drive and flair that actively contribute to the further development of the customer portfolio in Eastern Europe. You have experience as a representative, or at least in a commercial support role (within a B2B environment), giving you insight into the commercial flow from prospecting to ordering. You have an affinity with technology (electro-mechanics, hydraulics, machinery, etc.).
  • A listening ear that responds to the needs of customers and prospects. You think along and offer possible solutions.

  • No collective leave. You can schedule your leave, in consultation with colleagues and manager, according to your own needs.
  • From Monday to Thursday, you will work a fixed schedule from 08:00-12:00 and 13:00-17:15. On Friday, the working day ends at 15:00. So the weekend always starts extra early!
  • You will work a 39-hour week, which entitles you to 6 additional paid days off, on top of 20 legal holidays and 10 public holidays.
