About our machines

Does Vertimac sell new or used machines?

Vertimac has a wide range of both new and used machines. 

Our fleet consists of numerous renowned brands, such as Genie, JLG, Haulotte, Magni, JCB, Skyjack, Manitou, IMER and many others. With our personalised advice, we establish ourselves as a committed partner throughout the process of choosing the machine that suits your project.

In which condition are the machines upon delivery?

All machines are delivered in perfect operational condition, with safety functions activated. Before delivery, each machine is thoroughly inspected to ensure it meets our quality standards.

Is it possible to do a viewing of the machines?

You are welcome to visit us at our headquarters in Waregem, Belgium, where all machines can be viewed.

Are used machines covered by warranty?

All used machines are delivered in perfect operational condition and therefore they are not covered by warranty. The warranty conditions of new machines vary per brand.

Are the machines sold by Vertimac from the company's own rental fleet?

Only 30 per cent of the machines sold are from our own rental fleet. The remaining 70 per cent comes from trade.

Is it possible for Vertimac to repaint the platform or the entire machine?

Repainting of the machine or platform is not possible. We are focused on selling the machine in fully operational condition and not on optical improvements.

About loading, transport & delivery

How are machines loaded?

The method of loading depends on the machine type. We have a loading ramp available. Machines can also be loaded using a forklift truck. We have sufficient manoeuvring space available to drive the machine onto the truck.

What are the opening hours for the loading of machines?

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 - 12:00, 13:00 - 16:30
Friday: 8:00 - 12:00, 13:00 - 14:30

What is the transit time for delivery?

The transit time depends on the delivery zone.
Estimated transit times Europe:
BE/NL: 24 hours (Northern NL: 48 hours)
FR: 48-72 hours
DE: 48 hours
ES: 2-3 days (South ES: 4-5 days)
PT: 4-5 days
IT: 3-5 days (South IT: 6-7 days)
BG/HU/PL: 4-5 days
AT/CH: 3-4 days
Scandinavia: 4-5 days
UK: 2-3 days
The data above are estimates, subject to variations depending on loading date, specific location, force majeure.

What is the dispatch time after payment?

Under normal conditions, machines are ready for dispatch five to ten working days after receipt of payment. Expedited procedures are possible upon request. Differences may occur between new and used machines.

What are the transportation costs for the delivery of the machine?

For more information regarding the transportation costs for delivering a machine to your address, please contact our team at logistics@vertimac.com.

Is it possible to transport a machine via container shipping?

Yes. Over the years, Vertimac has established itself as an expert in container transport for almost any type of machine.

What are the possible transport methods?

There is the possibility of:
road transport tautliner / road transport low load / container transport / RORO / flattrack
The transport method is always determined in consultation with the customer.

To which destinations is delivery possible?

Delivery is possible worldwide.

Does Vertimac handle customs formalities?

Yes, we take care of the customs formalities. If the machine is of European origin, movement certificate EUR. 1 is possible. When customs formalities are required, the transit time will increase by 62 hours.

Can transported goods be covered by insurance?

Yes, transported goods can be covered by CMR insurance. For sea freight, Incoterm CIF insurance can be obtained.

Can any additional costs be expected?

No, all costs will be stated in the quotation. If container transport is chosen, an additional cost may be charged for making the required adjustments to the machine. Such additional costs will also be included in the quotation.

Is a leasing contract possible?

Yes, a lease contract is a possibility for Belgian customers. For these contracts, we cooperate with KBC Bank.

About our service

Does Vertimac offer maintenance or service contracts for the machines sold?

We do not offer maintenance or service contracts for sold machines.

Is it possible to order spare parts?

Spare parts can be ordered from our in-house warehouse via platformparts.com.
